The kingsized bedroom is stunning with large windows looking out over uninterupted views of fields and the Blackdown HIlls. It is equipted with dressing table, hanging rail and bedside tables, the ensuite toilet and shower room completes the accommodation upstairs.
Wagtails suits either up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
At Wagtails Cottage we provide lots of doggy extras such as throws (for use on sofas and chairs), dog towels, poo bags, a specific dog first aid kit and outside is a warm dog shower. We try to think of everything for your multi dog stay.
Outside, you can relax in the private 4 person hot tub, even in the winter months. The garden is dog friendly and well-fenced and has a large patio area with seating, a charcoal barbecue and food serving area. The garden is private with views over open countryside. The hot tub area also has seating and plastic glasses are supplied so you can sip sundowners whilst in the hot tub on summer evenings.
Located adjoining a 220 acre nature reserve, Wagtails is ideal for those wishing to get away from it all to relax and unwind.
Wellington (3.3 miles) is a 10 minute drive and has four supermarkets plus lots of smaller independent shops, takeaways and cafes.
Freshly baked cakes, cream teas and tasty light lunches served in a nearby (2 minute walk) cafe and garden with far reaching views of the Blackdown Hills. The village pub is within walking distance with real ales, open fires & good food – both dog friendly.

"We had a really lovely and comfortable stay at Wagtails. The warm welcome provided by the pack left for us and our dog Floyd even had his own little welcome pack, a lovely touch. Liz was incredibly helpful before we arrived. Everything you could possibly need was in the cottage. Outside the garden was lovely although sadly we couldn't enjoy it or the fabulous hot tub due to poor weather, however I thoroughly enjoyed the huge bath tub instead! I would recommend this cottage to anyone with dogs. I can't comment on the area as we were rained in for the whole week but there is delicious pub grub and a warm welcome available just a short walk up the road from the cottage. I also recommend the local lager, very good!"
